What's New - Sylvie Moreau
Champagne Sylvie Moreau is an artisanal family estate located in Saint-Euphraise, at the heart of the Vallée de l’Ardre in the Petite Montagne de Reims. Its story began in the 1960s, when André Moreau replanted vines in the village. In 1991, his daughter Sylvie and her husband Olivier took over the estate and officially established the Champagne Sylvie Moreau label.
Today, the family manages approximately three hectares of low-yielding vineyards, with a strong focus on individual vineyard parcels and sustainable viticulture. The estate has completely eliminated chemical herbicides and insecticides and achieved official organic certification in 2023.
In the cellar, a minimal-intervention approach allows each terroir to express its distinctive character. Selected cuvées are fermented in oak barrels, with minimal racking, low sulphur additions, and limited clarification or filtration. The result is a collection of complex, characterful and gastronomic Champagnes.
Now led by the next generation, Alexandre Moreau continues the family legacy while introducing small-production, single-parcel cuvées that reflect the estate’s living soils and unique terroirs.
